We have officially been granted clearance back into the United States! We landed in Southwest Harbor, ME last night, 48 hours straight sailing after leaving Shelburne, NS on Monday night. Not without it's challenges, Bay of Fundy currents, 2 nights of moonlight, a grateful Northeast wind (a sleigh ride downwind most of the way), a minefield of lobster pots, 3 hour night shifts, we are here, safely, well rested and feeling proud. We are excited to be back 1 month following our boat purchase.
Que flag down, anchor up! More details on our last 48 hours soon. But first, onto Blue Hill, ME and a family wedding! We are honored to be able to celebrate this weekend with newly weds Doug & Elissa, surrounded by family and friends, new and old.
Love to all,
Jenn & Nate
